ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW: Miami Music Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses music as an instrument for social transformation, empowering children to acquire values and achieve their full potential, positively affecting their society through the study and performance of music. Miami Music Project’s vision is to create opportunity and access through music for those most in need, improve the quality of life for children today and ultimately transform their lives, the lives of their families and their communities. Emerging as a model for music education programs nationally, Miami Music Project offers free of charge, after-school and summer programming to all students with no barriers to entry, regardless of race or economic status. As of today, Miami Music Project has reached thousands of children and youth across Miami-Dade County, becoming one of the largest socially transformative music initiatives in US. Dec 15 - Director of Development
Reporting directly to the Executive Director and working closely with the Agency Fundraising Committee and Community Relations Department, the Director of Development will grow and oversee RCMA’s Development Department and design and execute a comprehensive and robust development strategy for RCMA and set annual goals. Dec 12 - Director of Resource Development and Communication
The Director of Resource Development and Communication will be responsible for the development of Centro Campesino’s fund development and marketing/communication strategy that will ultimately advance the organization’s position with funders and other relevant constituencies. The individual will lead the organization in the building and strengthening of relationships with donors and donor prospects to increase private financial support for Centro Campesino. The Director of Development and Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing a communications strategy that drives development objectives, makes Centro Campesino’s brand more visible and positions the organization strategically with relevant audiences. The Director is expected to provide strong leadership as a member of the senior management team and bring credibility, passion and commitment to Centro’s mission. As a member of the philanthropy team, the Florida Development Officer will support the fundraising goals of the National Service Office for Nurse-Family Partnership and contribute to the success of the organization’s multi-year Vision to Scale Plan.
