The Director of Alumni Programs is responsible for executing all programs and events relating to the School of Business Administration (SBA) alumni relations plans for those alumni and current students of SBA programs.

Responsibilities: 

Execute plans in the following areas: alumni education, national and campus-based events, communications with alumni, alumni mentoring program, engagement activities for current students, class identity and reunions and other alumni activities.

Communicate clearly and appropriately with alumni volunteers, donors and prospects, SBA faculty and administration, central Advancement, University administration and current students.

Coordinate print and web-based alumni communications for SBA.

Utilize Raiser's Edge, BI, and BBNC for events, biographic information, and to track alumni engagement, actions and activities.

Assist with directing a donor relations coordinator to accomplish tasks.

Identify and recruit volunteers to provide support for SBA programs.

Develop and request reports that will benchmark and evaluate results for objectives including alumni engagement within designated SBA programs.

Coordinate programing and communication with central offices for both graduate and undergraduate level alumni and parents.

Assist alumni with career placement.

Adhere to University and Advancement policies and attend central training and staff meetings.

Minimum Qualifications (Essential Requirements):

Baccalaureate degree with major emphasis in Business/Marketing and/or Communications preferred. A minimum of four years effective and relevant work experience.

Other Requirements:

Experience working with volunteer based support groups and special event coordination is essential. Must be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and a philosophy of teamwork and hands on implementation. Ability to persuade and negotiate with internal and external audiences required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to interact with all University constituents.
