The nonprofit Florida Center for Investigative Reporting is an award-winning statewide bilingual journalism organization working to expose corruption, waste and miscarriages of justice in the Sunshine State.

FCIR produces investigative journalism in collaboration with partners including traditional and ethnic news media. FCIR’s partners include Florida’s NPR member stations, the Miami Herald, Florida Times-Union, The Ledger, Naples Daily News and CBS Miami.

FCIR is seeking a full-time fundraiser to lead an intense three- to four-month fundraising campaign. If successful, this position would likely become permanent. The position is available immediately.

We need someone who can raise money from individuals, companies and foundations to support our public interest journalism. We seek an experienced fundraiser who values investigative reporting in civic life and can identify donors for the short and long term. FCIR has key staff members in Miami and St. Petersburg. This position may be based anywhere in Florida.
